DEVELOPMENT SQUAD STRENGTHENED

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD STRENGTHENED

It’s not just Paul Heckingbottom’s first team squad that has been bolstered this week.

Friday was a big day for two talented young players who have joined our Development Squad.

Head of Football Operations George Craig was joined by Hibernian Academy graduate and first team regular Ryan Porteous to welcome Jack Hodge and Josh Doig to the club.

The pair were joined by their families at the Hibernian Training Centre as they went through the formalities of signing on with the Hibees.

Jack is an 18-year-old central midfielder who joins us from St Johnstone, while Josh is a 17-year-old centre-back who was previously with Heart of Midlothian.

Following our decision to step away from the SPFL Reserve League in its current format, Jack and Josh can look forward to participating in the varied games programme that we will organise instead.

We’re delighted to welcome the two of them to Easter Road and look forward to following their progress.
