Hibernian return to action following the international break with a Scottish Women’s Premier League tie against Forfar Farmington on Tuesday night.
The visitors travel to the Hibernian Training Centre as the side sitting second-top host the team presently sitting second-bottom in the league table.
Forfar haven’t registered points in the league since a home draw with Stirling University at the start of August.
However, with an SSE Scottish Women’s Cup semi-final approaching this weekend against Motherwell, Scott’s side will be looking to maintain their good run of form.
The Hibernian Head Coach said: "We expect a defensive set-up from Forfar so expect a tough night on Tuesday.
“However, we saw something similar from Motherwell last time out, so we know how to defeat that kind of set-up.
"But we’ll only be successful if we do the right things against that type of shape.
“We’ll have learned a lot from our last game so I have confidence that the players will perform.
“It was nice to have the weekend off and give the players some much-needed rest after a tough few weeks, mentally and physically. I hope we see them fresh on their return.”
A win for Hibernian could begin to widen the gap between league rivals Celtic for a second placed finish this season.
Scott reiterated the importance of picking up points at the business end of the season.
He added: “We always go into games looking to win and this is no different.
“Picking up points at this stage of the season is really important and especially now to cement second place so we’ll be giving it everything on Tuesday.”
Be sure to head along to the Hibernian Training Centre on Tuesday evening to support the team before their SSE Scottish Women’s Cup Semi-Final on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 7:45pm with tickets costing £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
