JOHN POTTER CONFIRMED AS ASSISTANT HEAD COACH

By: Hibernian Media on 19 Nov, 2019 17:00

Hibernian are pleased to confirm the appointment of John Potter as Assistant Head Coach.

John arrives from Sunderland, where he worked with our new Head Coach, Jack Ross, and has also agreed a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Having initially played together at St Mirren before later linking up at the Stadium of Light, John was keen to rekindle the partnership in Edinburgh.

He said: “It’s a real honour to be joining Jack at Hibernian.

“From our own playing and coaching careers in Scotland it’s obviously a club we know all about and we’ll do whatever it takes – alongside the players and staff – to be successful.

“We’re all just looking forward to Motherwell coming to Easter Road on Saturday now.”

You can watch John's first interview as Assistant Head Coach on Hibs TV now.
