Hibernian are delighted to confirm that striker Kevin Nisbet has agreed to become our second signing of the summer.
The in-demand 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract, on the back of a successful spell with Dunfermline Athletic - where he notched 23 goals in 32 appearances.
Kevin expressed a real desire to sign for the club, knocking back alternative interest from both sides of the border, and will train with his new team-mates for the first time this morning at the Hibernian Training Centre.
He said: “I’m proud to be a Hibernian player and I’m grateful to the club for giving me this opportunity.
“It’s a new challenge for me and I’m confident – with the help of the staff here – that I can continue to improve as a player and help the team.
“I’ve been working hard on my fitness during the break and I can’t wait to get going.”
Head Coach Jack Ross added: “We’re delighted to have Kevin on board. It’s a position that we wanted to strengthen in and if you look at his profile, and where he is in his career, then I think it’s a really good fit for both parties.
“I’m excited by it. We were keen to get him in in January so we’re all pleased to get it over the line now.”
