Excitement has been building since the announcement of the East Stand opening - and the rush to be part of the first-ever match staged at the completed new look Easter Road Stadium this Sunday (22 August, kick-off 12.15pm) when champions Rangers travel East along the M8 to take on second-place Hibernian, has been reflected in ticket sales this week.

Delivered a full month ahead of schedule, the new 6,400-seat East Stand completes the Hibernian Family Home. East Stand Season Ticket Members and ticket holders have the chance to enjoy some of the best vantage points in the Stadium for the first home game of the season.

It will be an historic day for the Club as the new East Stand opens for the first time - the team and Manager needs YOU to become part of this historic event today by securing your ticket.

To avoid heavy queuing and delays on matchday the Club is encouraging supporters to collect tickets from the Ticket Office tomorrow (Friday) open 9am till 5pm and on Saturday open 9am to 3pm.

East Stand Season Ticket Members and matchday ticket holders will be entering the new stand for the first time and are encouraged to come along to the Stadium early to get oriented and find their new seats.

In addition, supporters should note that only temporary limited catering concession facilities will be operational in the new East Stand on Sunday until September. The catering kiosk fit-out works were always intended to be undertaken separately, following completion of the main construction project.

Tickets for this match are available to supporters who are on the Hibernian Ticket Office Database only - tickets cannot be purchased by supporters who have not bought tickets for any home fixture before.
