John Hughes speaks exclusively to Hibernian TV about the historic event that awaits the club on Sunday (to subscribe to Hibernian TV please click here) - the opening of the new East Stand and the visit of champions Rangers (kick off 12.15pm).
Hughes said: "What the club has achieved with the stadium is remarkable. I remember when I was a player here it was a case of sticking goalposts on a transit van because we didn't know where we were going to train that day.
"So I'm privileged to be here now as manager and to walk out on the pitch and see the new stand is absolutely breathtaking. It makes you proud to be associated with this football club and everyone - players, staff and supporters - should be proud of what has been built.
"Now it is up to the team to play the type of winning football that fits the new stadium. I can assure everybody that we will be working harder than ever to make sure we reach the next step in our development."
