John Hughes tells Hibernian TV (click to subscribe to the club's online TV channel) the latest team news ahead of the club's all-important Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League away match at St Mirren on Sunday (29 August, kick off 2.15pm, click here for ticket info, live audio commentary available on Hibernian TV).
The manager explains the full extent of Michael Hart's injury, reveals that a player will resume training with the squad next week and discusses the merits of goalkeeper Mark Brown.
Hughes also gives us his verdict on the exit of Scottish clubs from the Europa League and also underlines his mindset towards this season's Co-Operative Insurance Cup.
Hughes said: "It is always difficult going through to Paisley; I don't think we've won there since 1999.
"St Mirren will also be hurting after being knocked out of the Cup by Ross County. They will want to put it right, so we have to make sure that our mindset is 100% right in order to win the football match.
"If we do that and play like we did for the first hour against Rangers then we should win the match."
