Hibernian under-19s narrowly lost 1-0 against Dundee United at St Andrews on Saturday with the home side's goalkeeper Marc McCallum proving to be the difference between the two teams.

Highlights from the match will be aired later on this evening (Saturday) in the 'Academy' section of Hibernian TV (click here to subscribe) with post-match analysis from coach Alistair Stevenson.

Dominant for large periods of the fixture, Hibernian could not translate chances into goals with McCallum forced to produce several superb stops.

Dundee United secured maximum points by scoring with their first real attack of the match on the 30-minute mark.

Michael Lee's cross wasn't dealt with properly by the Hibernian defence and Gavin Stokes finished from eight yards out past Paul Grant.

Hibernian were denied by further saves by McCallum and the crossbar and could not find a way through to restore parity - much to their frustration.
