The 22-year-old left back also reveals how impressed he is with the new-look Easter Road and says he wants to play a prominent role in the plans of manager John Hughes.

Grounds said: "Since the last time I came here to the stadium for a pre-season game two years ago, things have changed drastically.

"The stand on the far side has now changed and it all looks brilliant.

"Coming up here on loan at 22, I want to be a consistent first team player, maintain some good form and stay in the side."
