Paul Hanlon admits he would love to help Scotland's under-21 team qualify for the European Championships - starting with tomorrow night's must-win match in Belarus (Friday 3 September, Gorodskoi Stadium, Borisov, kick off 6pm).

Billy Stark's side then face group leaders Austria, who are currently one point ahead of the young Scots, at Pittodrie on Tuesday (7 September, kick off 4pm, admission: adults: 5, kids: 2).

Speaking exclusively to Hibernian TV (click here to subscribe), Hanlon said: "I would be delighted if we could qualify.

"You always want to test yourself against the best and if we can qualify for the latter stages of the tournaments like this then it means coming up against good teams.

"I'm looking forward to the Belarus match - it will be a really important game.

"If we can win our next two games then hopefully we will have done enough to have qualified."
