Mark Brown speaks exclusively to Hibernian TV (click to subscribe to the club's online TV channel) about his belated debut for the club, the full extent of his wrist injury which kept him out for the closing stages of last season and sums up the level of competition for the goalkeeper jersey at Easter Road.

Brown is currently first choice ahead of Graham Stack, who is recovering from a back injury, and Graeme Smith, but the former Rangers and Celtic shot stopper acknowledges that he faces a huge battle to keep hold of the jersey.

Brown said: "There is a lot of healthy and friendly competition for the goalkeeper position, but I think that all successful teams need that.

"Rangers have got that with McGregor and Alexander and the manager wanted that same level of competition here.

"We all push each other on in training and I can only see that competition benefitting the club.

"I think that people do get complacent if they are guaranteed a place in the side; it is good to continue earning your place for every game."
