With the eagerly awaited inaugural Hall of Fame Gala Dinner set to take place on Friday 15 October at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange (click here for full details), it is an opportunity for Hibernian TV viewers (click here to subscribe to our online TV channel) to relive the Pat Stanton Appreciation Dinner which took place 19 years ago.
Originally aired in 1991, the footage contains interviews with Tony Higgins, the late Joe Baker and, of course, Stanton, who has become a virtual icon of Hibernian Football Club.
Many players have worn the green and white with distinction since the club's formation 135 years ago, but few have done so with the skill, flair and unswerving commitment of Stanton.
Football may have changed since 1991, but the sentiment remains the same - Stanton is a true Hibernian great.
