Manager Pat Fenlon has revealed that Ivan Sproule could resume full squad training by the end of the week after news the winger's ankle injury is not as bad as first feared.

Northern Ireland internationalist Sproule was carried off the pitch in the closing moments of Sunday's dramatic win at Inverness Caledonian Thistle after being kicked on the ankle.

But fortunately the injury is just bad bruising and not ligament damage - something Fenlon is pleased about.

Fenlon said: "The good news is that Ivan's injury is not as bad as we first feared it might be.

"He was obviously in a lot of pain when he came off the pitch, but fortunately the injury has responded to treatment and he could be back in training sooner rather than later."
