Hibernian can confirm the club's pre-season programme building up towards the 2012/2013 Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League season with a series of matches against European opposition; kicking off with a friendly against Rapid Bucharest at Grangemouth Stadium on Wednesday 11 July (kick off 7.30pm).

Rapid are one of the biggest clubs in Romania and have a proven European pedigree - reaching the quarter finals of the Europa League (2005/06) - and a handful of full internationalists.

Tickets will be priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for Concessions (available to purchase from Hibernian Ticket Office at a date still to be finalised).

After the opening match, Hibernian head overseas to Belgium for a three-match tour. The opening game of the tour will be against Lierse SK (Wednesday 18 July, kick off 7pm at the Stadium Herentals), followed by a match against Leuven (Saturday 21 July, kick off 7pm, at th Den Dreef Stadium, Leuven) and finally against Zeeland Select (a regional select team) on Sunday 22 July, kick off 2.30pm at the Sportcomplex, Vlissingen.

Hibernian take on English Championship new boys Huddersfield Town at Easter Road on Saturday 28 July, kick off 2pm.

Fresh from their penalty shoot-out heroics at Wembley, Huddersfield, with Scotland star Jordan Rhodes expected to lead their attack, will head to Easter Road in a buoyant mood.

Former Hibernian keeper Nick Colgan is also part of Huddersfield's squad and it will be a tough final test for the team in green before our SPL opener at Dundee United on Sunday 5 August.
