Hibernian kick off the pre-season friendly fixture list with a match against Rapid Bucharest at Grangemouth Stadium next Wednesday (11 July, kick off 7.30pm).

The Romanian club, who finished fourth in their domestic league, have staged their pre-season training camp in Scotland in preparation for their Europa League qualifiers.

As a result, Hibernian have stepped forward to play Rapid with the friendly fixture taking place in the heart of the Forth Valley, Grangemouth Stadium.

Rapid Bucharest have some quality players and it will be the first time Hibernian will have locked horns with Eastern European opposition since we faced NK Maribor at Easter Road in 2010.

Please note that admission for this unique match is strictly by ticket only (which can only be purchased via the Hibernian Ticket Office).

On the day of the game, access to the seated stand (which holds approximately 1200) will be on a first come, first served basis with further access to standing areas available to spectators.
