Pat Fenlon tells Hibernian TV viewers about the next priority on the transfer front - the hunt to sign a new striker.
Boss Fenlon completed his fourth signing of the summer transfer window after unveiling new goalkeeper Ben Williams yesterday; following Tim Clancy, James McPake and Paul Cairney to Easter Road.
Now the manager reveals he is looking to recruit a versatile forward capable of playing in a variety of formations to spearhead the new-look Hibernian team.
Fenlon said: "I think what we want to do is to be able to change our system. Last year I felt we could only play a certain way with the strikers we had.
"So we want to bring in one, who can play in different roles for us - whether we play 4-3-3, 4-3-2-1 or 4-4-2.
"So that we can mix it up and play with different systems wherever we go - against different teams and on different pitches.
"It's just making sure that we get the right player, who fits into the system we're trying to play.
"That's why it's quite a slow process rather than just saying: Right there's one we want to go and take.
"We are talking to one or two at the moment. But it takes a bit more work to get one in, particularly with strikers because it's important you get the right one."
The manager also explains the mindset behind the arrival of Williams and reveals that one young goalkeeper could be poised for a loan move out of Easter Road.
Fenlon also reveals the reasoning behind the inclusion of defender Alan Maybury and midfielder Mark Kerr into the squad's pre-season training camp.
He added: "I don't think you ever rule anything out. I think the two lads we have in, Alan and Mark, are two very good professionals and players with a lot of experience.
"It's more of a case of them coming in to train and them taking a look at us and us taking a look at them before seeing where we take it.
"There's nothing set in stone and both players know that. We'll see how it goes over the next period of time with them."
