Hibernian can confirm that this evening's scheduled friendly fixture against Rapid Bucharest at Grangemouth Stadium has been cancelled because of a waterlogged pitch.

A pitch inspection was carried out this morning and the recent heavy rain meant that the game has been called off.

Supporters who have purchased tickets for the match are entitled to a full refund. Supporters have got 14 days in order to claim refund and can do so by returning ticket (s) to the Hibernian Ticket Centre (Easter Road Stadium, 12 Albion Place, Edinburgh EH7 5QG). The Clubsote/Ticket Office opening hours are as follows:

Monday-Friday: 12 noon to 5pm

Saturday: 10am to 5pm.
