A fortnight of football at Easter Road starts tonight with league leaders Hibernian under-20s taking on Hamilton Academical (kick off 7pm) with experienced first teamers Shefki Kuqi and Ivan Sproule expected to start.
The young team in bottle green have won all three games so far this season - including an 8-1 demolition of St Mirren - and now they are poised to continue that fine form in front of the Hibee Nation at our home stadium.
The rules of the SPL U20 League stipulate that teams are allowed to field overage players (three outfield players plus a goalkeeper) and, as a result, former Finland target man Kuqi, 35, and Northern Ireland winger Sproule, 31, will feature.

Head of Academy Coaching James McDonaugh welcomed the addition of the two seasoned professionals and says his team want to put on a decent show for the Hibs supporters tonight.
McDonaugh said: "These games often have more of a reserve team look about them as opposed to last season's under-19 league and we have been fortunate enough to field some first team players this season.
"It will be a good experience for our players to play in front of a crowd at Easter Road. We've still got a very young side and it will be a good experience for them to play alongside players like Shefki and Ivan in a competitive game.
"Our aim is to carry on the good form we've enjoyed so far this season and put on a good performance for the Hibernian supporters."
Admission for this match is free and entrance is via the north side of the East Stand, although there will be bucket collections in aid of funding our Academy, so please donate and help to develop the next generation of Hibernian talent.
