Hibernian can confirm that places for the eagerly awaited Hall of Fame Awards Dinner (Friday 9 November) have now completely sold out - over a month before the event.

The demand for places for the event, which will be staged at Easter Road, was extraordinary with Hibees buzzing at the prospect of being there to see the likes of John Fraser, Eric Stevenson, Jimmy O'Rourke and Alan Rough being inducted into the Hall of Fame - immortalised forever into Hibernian folklore.

Amanda Vettese, Hibernian's Corporate Hospitality Manager, said: "The demand for this event was phenomenal and we've now completely sold out.

"The fact we've managed to sell every available place underlines what a prestigious event the Hall of Fame Awards Dinner is in the club's calendar.

"Everyone connected with the club is looking forward to what promises to be a very special evening."

A quartet of celebrated former players - Gordon Hunter, Darren Jackson, Michael Weir and Keith Wright - were short-listed for the title of Hibernian's Player of the 1990s, which earns the recipient a place in the Hall of Fame.

Hundreds of Hibernian supporters voted for their favourite and, to heighten the sense of occasion on the night, the winner will now be announced at the Hall of Fame Awards Dinner.

Thanks to all of the Hibernian supporters, who played their part in making history and we will announce the result on the night on www.hibernianfc.co.uk.
