Hibernian can confirm young midfielder David Gold has joined League Two side Queen's Park on loan until the middle of December.

Formerly captain of the under-20s, Gold, 20, is scheduled to make his debut for the Glasgow side at Peterhead today; something he says he is excited about.

Gold said: "I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully I get some game-time and some experience of playing competitive football."

Meanwhile, defender Brad Donaldson is expected to play for Arbroath against Rangers at Ibrox today and goalkeeper Paul Grant will line up for Berwick Rangers at Albion Rovers and Callum Booth will line up for loan club Raith Rovers at Queen of the South today.

Hibernian EOS will play Duns today at the Training Centre (kick off 2.30pm, admission is via bucket collections with programmes available for 50p) in the Central Taxis First Division.

The team in green are currently top of the league and head into the fixture in a buoyant mood.

Manager Pat Fenlon revealed in an Hibernian TV interview that no senior members of the first team squad will be involved for Hibernian EOS today.
