Hibernian can confirm Jake Sinclair’s loan stay at the club has ended and that the player has returned to Southampton.

The 20-year-old moved north to Easter Road in late August and made his Hibernian debut against Cowdenbeath in September – making three first team appearances in total.

Head Coach Alan Stubbs thanked Sinclair for his contribution and professionalism and wished the player all the best for the future.

Stubbs said: “I’d like to thank Jake and wish him all the best for the next stage in his career and I’d also like to thank Southampton for allowing us to take him here on loan.”
