Hibernian have a number of players out on loan across Scotland to gain first team experience – here’s a round-up of how some of them got on at the weekend across a frostbit Scotland.
Sam Stanton started for Dundee United as they recorded an impressive 2-0 victory over Jim Duffy’s Morton at Cappielow. The win ensured Dundee United would remain in top spot for another week at least.
Alloa got back to winning ways as they beat Forfar 2-0 at Station Park. Hibernian’s Callum Crane played the full match for the Wasps as they jumped into 3rd place, with Scott Martin’s Arbroath dropping into 4th after their match was postponed.
Callum Donaldson came on from the bench as his Berwick side looked to kick start a comeback against league leaders Montrose. The three goals early in the first half was enough to see off Berwick and leave Montrose three points clear at the top of the table.
Innes Murray watched his side from the bench as Stenhousemuir lost 3-1 at home to Annan. Despite taking the lead with twenty minutes to go, Annan turned it around and leapfrogged Stenhousemuir into 5th in the table.
