The proceeds of the auction will go towards a refurbishment the Community Foundation Learning Centre in the South Stand which will allow to the Foundation to engage with increased numbers of people, and deliver a wider range of community programmes.
Commenting on the auctions Charlie Bennett, the Foundation’s Chief Executive said: “We a very grateful to Hibernian Football Club for donating the strips to the Foundation and allowing us to put our tenth anniversary logo onto their backs for the Rangers game. In doing so we have created a unique piece of the Club’s history which supporters will be able to bid for and own.
"The money raised from the auction will be used to upgrade the Learning Centre we have in the South Stand to provide a better learning environment with improved facilities that can engage with more people to improve employment potential, physical and mental wellbeing; and develop other skills such as IT, literacy, and numeracy.
"We know the generosity of the Hibernian fans and we are sure this will again be the case and we will raise a significant amount of money for the project through the auction.”
