Hibernian can confirm that goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has joined the Club on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool, subject to international clearance.
The 30-year-old Hungarian international has previously played for Vasas and Vecsés in his home country, but has spent a majority of his career in England, playing for Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and current club Liverpool.
The goalkeeper commented: “I am really excited to be joining Hibernian for the season ahead and it is an opportunity I will grasp with both hands.
“The club is in a good position at the moment after a strong few seasons and it is important to build on what has been achieved, which was instantly attractive to me, as well as working with Neil Lennon once again.
“There is good competition for goalkeeping positions here, so I am prepared to work hard to ensure that I can have a good season and help the team as best I can.”
Head Coach Neil Lennon previously worked with Adam at Bolton and believes that the signing of the 20-time capped Hungarian international will help bolster the squad for the 2018/19 campaign.
He said: “Adam is a very experienced and dependable goalkeeper and one I am pleased to have brought into the club ahead of the season getting started.
“Having previously worked with him at Bolton I know that we are bringing in a quality player with experience playing at a high standard, including representing his country.
“That experience and his skillset will help to bring on our other goalkeepers in the squad, as well as helping us to achieve our aims this campaign.”
