By his own admission, Flo Kamberi has been through an up and down first half of the season.
Feeling refreshed after his week in Dubai on Hibernian’s winter training camp, ahead of the friendly against Al-Wasl, Flo took time out to talk to Hibs TV about the campaign from his perspective.
Pointing out he had willingly played through a slight injury to help provide a focal point for the team, he is the first to admit that at times we have not seen the best of him.
However, there is no doubting his determination heading in to the restart and the Scottish Cup tie against Elgin City.
He said: “Every time I am on the pitch I want to try my best for the team. I am not playing for myself. I’m playing for the team.
“It’s not been easy. I could have said ‘I have fluid in my knee and I cannot play’ but I am not that type.
“I always give 120 per cent. Sometimes it works very well and sometimes it doesn’t work so well.
“The important thing is to have the attitude to try your best for the team. That’s the way I am.”
