Issue 23 of The Hibee is available ahead of our match at home to Motherwell for just £3 and it features Stephane Omeonga on the cover!
The Player Card for the match will be 1991 League Cup winning captain Murdo MacLeod, as designed by Lesley Ross! Thanks to Capital Cars for their support with the project.
In his feature length article, Stephane chats about adapting to Scottish football and the local climate, playing the piano, the appreciation he has for the Hibernian suppirt, and his recent call-up into the Belgium under-21 squad.
Also in the programme, we hear from Development Squad captain Kevin Waugh following the 7-0 win over Queen of the South, Lauren Davidson chats about the 4-0 win over Motherwell in the SWPL, Daryl Horgan reflects on the 1-1 draw at home to Rangers and Neil Martin recalls the 1964 victory over Real Madrid in ‘The Men and Moments That Made Easter Road.’
Elsewhere in the programme, Tom Wright takes a look at four more items in the Hibernian Historical Trust’s collection, John Hislop details our history at New Logie Green, and James Delaney continues his look at goals from each minute of our history at Easter Road Stadium.
That’s not all, we also have a look at our all green jersey worn as a change kit in Europe in 1972/73, and Motherwell’s season is also brought under the spotlight in Today’s Visitor’s.
Returning as usual are our recurring features of Club News, Hibs Kids Pages, Through the Lens, Paul Heckingbottom’s column, and Last Word With… is with Chief Executive Leeann Dempster this Saturday.
