One of only a handful of players to have represented both Rangers and Celtic, keeper Brown joined Hibernian in January 2010.
A former Scotland B internationalist, Brown has previously also featured for Motherwell, Inverness and Kilmarnock.
Brown recorded his first clean sheet for Hibernian in the impressive 3-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox in November 2010.
During the 2010/2011 season, Brown got a regular sequence of starts and recorded 28 appearances.
