A seasoned campaigner who returned to the Scottish Premier League in July after spending two years with Preston North End.
Previously with Aberdeen, right-back Hart started his career at Pittodrie and, after a brief spell with Livingston, returned to record over 150 appearances for the Dons.
His spell at Preston was disrupted by injury and he decided to move north to Edinburgh at the beginning of July 2010.
Hart parted company with Hibernian on 31 January 2012 after recording 29 appearances for the club.
