20-year-old left back Sean Mackie joined Hibernian in February 2016 after working hard to climb through the ranks at the Fife Elite Academy.
He made one senior appearance for Raith Rovers after signing a two-year contract with them in 2015 before moving to Easter Road.
He made his first team debut for the club in April 2017 after performing well for the Development Squad, but had to bide his time for a second appearance. However, he applied himself brilliantly in the Development Squad and played a huge role in their SPFL Development League and Scottish FA Youth Cup double in 2018.
November 2018 saw him make his second appearance in the green and white, with Sean coming on in injury time against Aberdeen. He played more minutes the following month, coming on at half-time against Celtic, where he assisted Flo Kamberi's goal in a 2-0 win, and he played the second half of a 1-1 draw at Ibrox - assisting Darren McGregor's headed equaliser.
To date, he has played 16 times for the club, starting seven of those, and has shown himself to be an able deputy for Lewis Stevenson.
Sean is currently on loan to Dundee for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
