Darlington-born defender Adam Jackson arrived at Hibernian at the end of May 2019 - becoming Paul Heckingbottom's first long-term signing since taking up the hotseat at Easter Road Stadium.
Having come through the ranks at Middlesbrough he never made an appearance for the Teesside club, instead spending time out on loan at Halifax Town, Coventry City and Hartlepool United - where he won the club's Young Player of the Year award - before joining Barnsley on a three-year deal, helping them to stay in the Championship in the 2016/17 season.
Unfortunately, the Tykes were relegated to League One the following campaign, but Adam played a role in helping them bounce right back into the second tier in England.
The former England youth international has settled into life in Leith well, making a good impression in his appearances so far, including scoring his first competitive goal against St Johnstone, with the supporters and management alike praising his wholehearted and honest performances.
