Absent Friends Remembered At Final Game Of The Season

Hibernian FC will be holding a special ‘Tribute To Absent Friends’ at our final home game of the season against St Johnstone on Sunday 15 May, 2022.

Hibees lost will be remembered ahead of this weekend's game against St Johnstone at Easter Road.

Before the game on Sunday in Leith (12pm kick-off), a video tribute will be shown on the stadium screens of photos and messages in memory of Hibees that have sadly passed away.

Hibernian fans are advised that this will begin after 11:40am.

There will also be a minute's applause just before kick-off as part of the tributes.

Supporter Liaison Officer, Kieran Power, said: "I’m proud we have this opportunity to come together to remember Hibernian people who are no longer with us. Their memory will always march on.

"The Club is often contacted by supporters who have lost loved ones, seeking some kind of way to remember them, and a match dedicated to absent friends and family gives us a real and appropriate way to do that.”

Hibs host St Johnstone on Sunday 15 May on the final day of the regular cinch Premiership season, kick-off midday.

Please be aware we are no longer accepting contributions to the Tribute To Absent Friends.
