Hibernian FC Women would like to provide supporters with an injury update on Shannon McGregor and Rachael Boyle.
Shannon McGregor
The Hibs midfielder felt something within her knee after 30 minutes in our SWPL match against Spartans on Sunday 22 January and had to be replaced as a result.
We can confirm that Shannon will miss the rest of the season due to the knee injury.
Rachael Boyle
The 31-year-old had to be stretchered off the pitch during our Scottish Cup fifth-round tie with East Fife after suffering a knee injury. After just 6 minutes on the pitch in her first start since returning to football from pregnancy.
Rachael is awaiting the results of her MRI scan to determine the extent of her knee injury.
Shannon and Rachael will now work closely with the Club’s medical department to ensure they both return back to fitness as quickly as possible.
