The Season So Far
It’ll be the third game in-a-row for Hibs in which they’ve faced another team currently in the top four with the big games coming thick and fast for the Capital side.
After a strong start to the season, picking up two wins on the bounce and scoring eight goals, momentum has taken a slight hit with two defeats. However, performances have still been strong with only one goal being the difference on both occasions. A win for Hibs would take them up to nine points and back on track.
Celtic started the season with a 2-0 defeat away to Glasgow City but have won the past three games since, including a 1-0 win over Rangers in last weekend’s Glasgow derby. Fran Alonso’s side currently sit 2nd in the table.
Keeping up with the game
As previously mentioned, supporters will not be granted access into Ainslie Park this weekend, as government guidelines decree. However, we at Hibernian Women are fully committed to bringing our supporters the best possible matchday coverage they can get without being with us in person.
