Jake Doyle-Hayes has committed his long-term future to Hibernian FC after an impressive start to the 2021/22 campaign!
The Irish midfielder has shone in the middle of midfield since his summer switch to Easter Road and his eye-catching performances have seen him earn a new contract at Hibernian FC.
The 22-year-old has signed a new deal that will run until the summer of 2025.
Jake has featured in all but one of our cinch Premiership games so far this season and has played a key role for Jack Ross’ side, controlling the tempo of the play and being aggressive in the tackle.
The box-to-box midfielder has developed during his time in the famous green and white jersey and certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
On signing a new deal, Doyle-Hayes said: “It’s an unbelievable feeling to get the deal done and I’m really happy to commit my future to the club.
“There’s been a few people signing contracts recently and the core of the group is staying together, which shows we’re all buying into the direction the club is going in and enjoying our football.
“I’ve got my head down and I’ve been working hard to impress. Hopefully I’ll continue to do well, improve and help the club be successful.”
“I’ve been really impressed with Jake so far this season,” said Jack Ross. “He worked hard to force his way into the team, and he’s added another dimension to our midfield.”
“Having someone who can move the ball forward as quickly and efficiently as Jake does is a real asset and he’s just a young man too, so he will keep on developing.
“We want to keep hold of our best players and I think Jake has shown everyone how much ability he has and how important he is for us.”
