Grant Scott was pleased with his side’s determination as two goals from Jorian Baucom sealed the Capital Cup for the Hibees.
Speaking after the match, Grant discussed the fans influence on the result:
“We spoke briefly about if we could get ourselves into a strong position, the noise would help us push on. Despite losing a late goal the crowd helped massively.
“We’re looking to push and strive for more, we always want better performances and we will be critical of ourselves despite the win.
“To win against Hearts and jump above them in the table means it’s a good day all round.”
Outstanding performances across the park ensured the victory, and the gaffer is hoping to see consistency in the coming weeks.
“There’s a lot of the girls that have joined us that have fitted into the group very well and we trust every player in the squad.
“I’m pleased with all of them and it's good signs for us and we’re making good progress.
“We’ll start looking at Spartans before next week. Tactically we’ve been changing our shape and personnel for various reasons. We’ll work on that during the week they’re a tough team.”
