Supporter Information: Kilmarnock (H)

Information for all supporters attending our cinch Premiership match against Kilmarnock at Easter Road; 3pm kick-off on Saturday 11 November, 2023.

Hibernian FC supporters are asked to familiarise themselves with the following information.

Remembrance

Hibernian FC will pay its respects on Saturday with a minute’s silence before the game at Easter Road. The players will also wear poppies on their shirts as we remember and honour the fallen from all conflicts.

Supporters will be able to bid on these special PoppyScotland shirts, with proceeds going to the charity and details will be advised after the match via the Club’s Social Media channels.

Rip – Ian Berwick

As many supporters will know, we sadly lost devoted Hibee Ian Berwick after last weekend’s Viaplay Cup Semi-Final at Hampden Park.

Ian’s family will be joining us on Saturday for the game, sitting in the Famous Five Stand where Ian - a long-time Season Ticket Holder - would watch his team.

In the 67th minute, we encourage supporters to join in a minute’s applause to remember Ian. The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with his loved ones and we pass on our condolences to his family at this sad time.

Unacceptable Conduct

We remind all supporters that anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, caught throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, bringing of bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken. The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the Courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in Unacceptable Conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!

It’s been shown we do not need pyrotechnics at our matches to create an atmosphere. In addition to the toxic fumes that are emitted the disruption to the match is something on a football perspective is not welcomed by the Football Department. Your Club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.

Walkways should be kept clear, and you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a Ground Regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a Club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, creed, and sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.

Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
