Team News: St Johnstone vs Hibs

Jack Ross has made two changes to his starting XI for this afternoon’s cinch Premiership game against St Johnstone; 3pm kick-off at McDiarmid Park.

The first change sees a welcome return for Ryan Porteous. The centre-half missed Wednesday’s game at Ross County through suspension. He comes into the side in place of Darren McGregor, who’s on the bench.

The second is an enforced one as Jamie Gullan replaces Martin Boyle. The Australian international is serving his one match ban after being sent off following the Ross County game. Gullan comes in for his second start of the campaign.

After returning to training yesterday, there’s a place for Jamie Murphy on the bench. Whilst James Scott, who has looked sharp in the build up to today’s game, is also a substitute.

Like Boyle, Christian Doidge is also suspended, whilst Ross is without the injured Kyle Magennis. Daniel Mackay, Sean Mackie and Melker Hallberg have all returned to training, but they aren’t match fit yet.
