Harry Clarke has been ruled out for a “few weeks” following a hamstring injury.
The defender picked up the knock in a bounce game during the winter break and will now work closely with the Club’s medical department to get back to full fitness.
It’s a real set-back for Clarke, who had strong ambitions and targets to hit with Hibernian FC during his 18-month loan spell from English Premier League side Arsenal.
“We'll find out a little bit more soon,” said Shaun Maloney when asked about the young defender.
“It's just going to be a few weeks for Harry, unfortunately. It was a big blow for us. He would’ve made a big difference for us both defensively and in the attacking areas.
“The quicker he gets back, the better for the team and the squad.”
