Utilita Pledge Support For Kicks For Kids

Our Principal Partner, Utilita, have pledged their support for our Charity Season Ticket campaign – Kicks for Kids.

Utilita have been a loyal partner of the Club, since 2017 and have supported the Club throughout numerous campaigns and initiatives since coming on board.

As our front-of-shirt sponsor for the past two seasons, Utilita have gone above and beyond their duties and has constantly looked for other ways to get involved in other areas of Club activity.

Ahead of our first home match of the season, the energy firm have pledged their support to our Charity Season Ticket – Kicks for Kids – donating 12 Season Tickets for the upcoming 2022/23 campaign.

That means, every home match these 12 tickets will be distributed out to children in local schools and the community to allow the youngsters to watch the Hibees at Easter Road.

Jem Maidment, Chief Marketing Officer at Utilita, said:

“Much like Hibernian FC, we at Utilita believe everyone should have access to the beautiful game.

“Times are exceptionally tough, but we refuse to sit by and let money prevent young fans from attending Easter Road. That is why Utilita has purchased 12 Season Tickets as part of the ‘Kicks for Kids’ campaign.

“The initiative is fantastic, and it shares a synergy with our Football Rebooted campaign - by opening up opportunities to those less fortunate. Hopefully, our donation will help in bringing in more smiling youngsters into the crowd at Easter Road.”

This is not the first time Utilita have worked collaboratively to support the Club. In December 2020, the energy partner teamed up with the Hibernian Community Foundation to give tickets to school kids and older members of the community, whilst also fundraising to support the Community Foundation.

Junior Development Manager at Hibernian FC, Joelle Murray, added: “We are extremely grateful to Utilita for their donation to the ‘Kicks for Kids’ initiative. The idea behind the scheme is to give as many young people the chance to come and watch a match at Easter Road, so it is great to have a partner that shares the same values as our Club.”

Kicks for Kids Season Tickets cost £85 and work just as a normal season ticket, entitling access to all home league matches.

Once purchased, these tickets are then donated and distributed throughout the local community to youth groups and charities as matchday tickets.
