Welcome to the new Hibernian FC official website

The new, mobile first, content led site will make for easier navigation and greater fan experience as they either look to purchase match tickets or simply browse player profiles or watch the latest videos.

The fresh new look isn’t the only change to the site, created by digital experts, Whitespace. There is also the addition of Single Sign On which will see the club gradually streamline the route for fans to interact with the club and give them one single route of access for tickets, retail and Hibs TV.

The key aims of the site were to enhance the connection between the fans and the club through the introduction of Single Sign On, improve the fan experience by being progressive and bringing the platform up to a standard fitting of the fans and the club. It was important to highlight the match centre, features and regular news stories to keep fans up to date with the goings on at Easter Road.

The user experience has been improved to encourage exploration of the site and finally it was key to entertain and give the fans a content led site.

Greg McEwan, Head of Marketing & Brand Partnerships said, “The new look site is one we think the fans will like and brings the club up to speed with the top clubs across Europe in terms of digital and content strategy. The flexibility of the site is first class and the designs are fresh, clean and dynamic which helps create the feeling of more than a football club and you can see that come through the imagery of the player profiles as an example.”

“The addition of Single Sign On was important to us as we developed the new site as in the coming months it will allow the fans to streamline their access points into a single log in where they will then be able to purchase tickets, merchandise and view Hibs TV. This will vastly improve the fan experience whilst helping the club significantly in tracking and measuring success of various activities. I’d also like to thank the team at Whitespace for the care and attention they have put into the development of the site, a great team who have put a lot into this project and also the team at Sports Alliance for assisting us with the addition of Single Sign On. It’s been a collaborative effort and this is just the start of a new digital and content strategy for the club.” Added McEwan.
