Doig, who only turned 19 earlier this month, and Mackay, 20, who recently signed a four-year deal with the Hibees from Inverness Caledonian Thistle, have earned their places in Scot Gemmill’s side after impressing throughout their respective league campaigns.
The young Scots are preparing for their UEFA Under 21 Championship qualifiers later this year and have organised a double header behind closed doors against Northern Ireland U21s.
Left-back Doig seized his opportunity when he was added to the first team squad last summer and has never looked back, going on to be named SFWA Young Player of the Year for 2020/21.
His performances have also seen him linked with a number of clubs eager to lure him away from Easter Road.

Mackay, meanwhile, became a fan favourite in the Highlands thanks to his regular displays on the wing, and attracted interest from a number of Scottish Premiership clubs keen to land his signature.
Hibs won that particular race, and Mackay committed himself to the Edinburgh club by signing a contract which should keep him in the capital until at least 2025.

Doig has been capped once for his country at U18 level, while Mackay played once and scored once for Scotland Schoolboys before going on to make two appearances at U19 level.
The squad will meet up for international duty on Saturday ahead of the games against Northern Ireland U21s on Wednesday, June 2, and Saturday, June 5. Both of those matches will be played behind closed doors.
