Hibernian FC are delighted to announce that as part of our initiative to be the greenest football club in Scotland, we will be offering players from both mens & women's squads bamboo shin pads as a result of a collaboration with US based Legend Soccer.
Offering players this greener option will allow us to reduce reliance on plastic. Legend soccer has redefined the performance of the shinguard with the “L1”, by utilizing the incredible properties of bamboo. L1 has a minimal tear-drop design, which allows for optimal protection at only 1.5oz. With the natural anti-microbial properties bamboo, L1 remains odorless while providing integrated rash protection. Legend Football has pushed the boundaries of the “traditional” feelings toward wearing shinpads.
