The Hibs midfielder insisted that they players have dusted themselves down and are ready to give everything on Saturday.
Speaking to Hibs TV, Jake told us that first and foremost, the players need to show their desire and willingness to fight for the Club.
"In every game you need to earn the right to play. We need to make sure we get stuck-in, it could be a dog fight but everyone is ready for it.
"We have got the players that are ready for it, then we need to show our quality on the ball.
“Last weekend, we put up a good fight and we were strong on the ball in the first half. The fight wasn’t there in the second half which isn’t acceptable, especially in a derby.
"We proved that we can compete with them at Easter Road earlier in the season and we need to show that again at Hampden."

The game carries huge significance, not only are city bragging rights at stake but a place in the Scottish Cup Final will await the winner as well as the chance to secure European football for next season - should the Hibees go on to lift the cup.
Having reached both the Scottish Cup Final and Premier Sports Cup Final in 2021, Jake is relishing the opportunity to go one better this time around.
"I am delighted to be back at Hampden – these are the games you want to play in. We want to be back there again for another final in May and have the chance at winning some silverware.
"It is a semi-final, it’s an Edinburgh Derby – if you are not getting up for this game then you’ve got no chance.
"We are going out there to prove the people wrong who don’t think we should be there, or that don’t think we can compete with Hearts."
