Despite going behind after nine minutes, Gareth Evans' side fought their way back into the game to secure an important three points.
Malik Zaid and Connor Young grabbed the goals again as the Wee Hibees moved up to second place in the CAS U18 Elite Youth League.
Zaid was a standout performer at the HTC and his presence on the right-hand side gave Hibs an outlet to come forward and attack in the second half.

Speaking after the game, the Malik shared his thoughts with us:
“In the first half we were a bit sloppy, and the coaches told us that at the break. So, in the second half we pressed a bit higher and we were able to get them on their heels.”
The intensity of the game was clear to see. The last time the sides met, the Wee Hibees put six past United, but this time, 'the Young Terrors' were fired up and put up a spirited fight.
“They were very physical, which meant there was no space in the middle for us to play. We had to search for the long balls with the aim of catching them on the break.
"When I scored I knew it was an important moment - all I was thinking was to get that ball past the keeper."

Malik believes despite the victory there are still plenty of improvements to be made between now and the end of the season.
“We need to be starting games better. We can’t go a goal down like that and then continue to be put under pressure."
With Hamilton coming up on Friday, the boys will be straight back to training and hoping to grab another important three points in their quest for the league title.
