Through running several different activities, Harris raised over a staggering £2,000 for the charity, more than anyone other than Boogie and the team.

After hearing about this incredible achievement on the radio, the Club contacted young Harris and invited him and his family in for a day they will cherish forever.

All born Hibees, the Hogg family were able to experience the Pioneers hospitality experience for the Edinburgh Derby – our first home game of the season.

Not only did he enjoy the whole experience, and Martin Boyle’s last-minute equaliser, but he also received a signed shirt and got two meet two of his heroes; Boyle himself and Lewis Stevenson!

After the game, Harris wrote to the Club and said: “Thank you so much for inviting me to Easter Road. I love the hospitality tickets and meeting everyone. Meeting Lewis Stevenson and Martin Boyle was out of this world. The signed Hibs strip was spectacular and is going on my bedroom wall. I’m looking forward to many more visits to Easter Road.”

Martin McAvoy, Head of Venue Sales at Hibernian FC, commented: “It was great having Harris with us in the hospitality suites for the Edinburgh Derby.

“I think he’s a real inspiration for everyone and worked incredibly hard to make a difference for those who needed it the most.”
