Utilita have been a loyal partner of the Club since 2017 and has supported various different campaigns and initiatives since coming on board.
The energy supplier has been our front-of-shirt sponsor for the past two seasons and have constantly been looking for other ways to support other areas of Club activity.
Most recently, they donated several Kicks For Kids Season Tickets (our charity Hibs Season Ticket campaign) and have previously worked in partnership with the Hibernian Community Foundation, launching the Bright Sparks programme in January 2022 – an education programme aimed at providing energy tips and advice for primary school pupils!
Now, Utilita have agreed to pledge £2,000 to help support the Hibernian Community Foundation Christmas Appeal. Their kind donation will go towards food costs and logistics as the HCF aim to provide Christmas Lunch for 500 people at Easter Road on Christmas Day.
NE Edinburgh Foodbank, Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, Street Soccer, Dnipro Kids, The Salvation Army, and several local schools are just a few of the organisations and charities that are supporting the appeal, inviting families and members of the local community for a bite to eat and some company this Christmas at Easter Road.

Lewis Melee, Head of Community at the Hibernian Community Foundation, said:
“We are delighted that Utilita has offered to support the Christmas Appeal this year. Their contribution will go a long way towards helping us meet our aim of feeding 500 people at Easter Road this Christmas.
“Christmas can be a difficult time of the year for many families, so campaigns like this one are crucial to support as many people as possible.”
Jem Maidment, Chief Marketing Officer at Utilita, added: “When you think of Christmas, you think of family time, friendships and food.
“But these things don’t come as standard for some people, which is why we are throwing our support behind the Hibernian Community Foundation Christmas Appeal.
“The Hibernian Community Foundation completes excellent work all year round, and we will continue to back its incredibly powerful and meaningful projects that make such a difference to the people in Leith.”
