Marking 50 years since the seven-goal win at Tynecastle, the Club are proud to release this special documentary, featuring players and fans who were there that day.

Made completely in-house by the Hibs media team, Nil Seven remembers the legends that made up Eddie Turnbull's iconic Tornadoes side of the early 1970s.

Viewers will then be taken through the game as goals from Jimmy O'Rourke, Alan Gordon, Arthur Duncan and Alex Cropley fired Hibs to the top of the league going into 1973.

The captain of the Tornadoes, Pat Stanton, speaks exclusively on the film alongside teammates Jim Herriot, John Brownlie, John Blackley and Alex Edwards.

Fans will also hear from those in the stands at Tynecastle on the day, including Hibs TV commentator Cliff Pike.

“We’re really excited to bring this documentary to Hibs fans,” Mathew Newton, Hibernian Head of Digital & Content, told hibernianfc.co.uk.

“It has been produced entirely in-house over the last few months and will be a fitting tribute as we approach a landmark anniversary of that day.

“We’re hoping the film will be both entertaining and educational for supporters of all ages.”

Pat Stanton told the official club website: "I'm delighted to see Hibs recognise our team through this documentary.

"It was great to share some of the memories of my old teammates and from that day at Tyencastle.

"I'm looking forward to reliving it all again when the full film comes out - it was a special day in Hibernian history."

The documentary is available to watch now on Hibs TV and YouTube.
