The Edinburgh Derby is a time when passions run high, both on and off the pitch. At Hibernian Football Club, we hope everyone enjoys the game safely and we urge all supporters attending the match to behave appropriately throughout the entire match.

Football has worked hard to get supporters back into stadiums after such a difficult time. Now is the time to saviour the atmosphere at a sold-out Easter Road, under the floodlights with the game being broadcasted live on Sky Sports around the world.

Supporters are reminded that anyone who enters the track or pitch, who is caught with a smoke device, firework, or flare, who attempts to bring alcohol into the stadium, or who take part in any form of unacceptable conduct can expect action to be taken. This could take the form of an arrested, either at the time, or because of a post-match investigation, and, as well as receiving a criminal conviction, they run the risk of being banned from attending future matches.

With the game sold out turnstiles at the stadium will be open from 6.15pm. Once again proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test, full vaccination, or proof of an exemption is required. We expect stadium queues to be busy, so please give yourself plenty of time to get into the stadium.

Regardless of your vaccination status as always, we encourage all supporters to take a Lateral Flow Test to help protect everyone attending the match. Please remember to regularly sanitise your hands and wear a mask whilst moving around indoor areas.

Finally, enjoy the game and let’s get right behind Shaun Maloney and The Hibees from the first whistle.
