THE LOWDOWN
Shaun Maloney's side come into this fixture off the back of an encouraging 3-1 win over Arbroath in the Scottish Cup.
Demetri Mitchell, Kevin Nisbet and Chris Mueller were all on target at Gayfield as we booked our place in the Quarter Finals.
We currently sit seventh in the cinch Premiership on 31 points, in a tightly congested mid-table, with just three points separating fourth and ninth position.
The visitors, Ross County, sit tenth on 27 points but are unbeaten in their last four league matches.
TEAM NEWS
Paul Hanlon, Paul McGinn and Joe Newell are all doubts for Saturday's match. Kyle Magennis is still recovering from a recent setback and will not feature.
Demetri Mitchell has been ruled out of this weekend's clash. He is awaiting the results of a scan after coming off with an ankle injury against Arbroath.
Elias Melkerson was named on the bench against Arbroath. The Norwegian youngster has been working hard in training to get up to the physical demands of the Scottish game and could make his Hibernian debut at the weekend.
THE VISITORS
Ross County come into this fixture off the back of a decent run of form. The Staggies are unbeaten in their last four league matches, drawing with Rangers (3-3), Aberdeen (1-1), Livingston (1-1) and beating Dundee 2-1 at Dens Park earlier this month.
One player to keep an eye on is Regan Charles-Cook. The Ross County winger is the league's joint-top scorer with 11 goals and two assists from 25 games. Charles-Cook was also voted cinch Premiership Player of the Month in January.
HEAD TO HEAD
We have played Malky Mackay's side twice so far this season. Our last fixture ended in a 1-0 defeat in Dingwall in November 2021.
Before that, we beat the Staggies 3-0 in August, with three first-half goals coming from Christian Doidge, Martin Boyle and Kyle Magennis.
