Melker Hallberg has today departed Hibernian FC after the club and the player came to an agreement to terminate his contract.
The 26-year-old’s contract was due to expire at the end of the 2021/22 campaign, but both parties have come to a settlement to allow Hallberg to seek different opportunities.
The midfielder joined Hibs back in August 2019 from Danish club Vejle Boldklub and went on to make 61 appearances for the club, scoring three goals.
